Drupal Training and Job Placement
Drupal is in serious demand! So much so, that there aren’t enough Drupal developers to meet this demand. Acquia have recently announced “Acquia U”, a new program providing comprehensive Drupal training and Drupal job placements for graduates.
Acquia is a company that was started by Dries Buytaert and Jay Batson, offering support, hosting, tools and training. They have just launched “Acquia U”, establishing a formal training program to satisfy the strong need for Drupal developers and to meet the needs of this rapidly growing cms.
This Drupal training is a 6 week paid program and will begin on January 2012 in Boston. As a prerequisite, any degree will qualify for outstanding applicants but engineering and computer science degrees would be preferred. Training also involves analytical development and the development of skills in presenting. A rotation program provides experience in different teams and certain projects, providing hands-on industrial experience.
An appealing aspect of this program is its job placement after training. It involves working as an advisor for Acquia, managing Drupal projects.
This is a guest post by Mitchel Xavier who has extensive experience in Drupal cms and works as a Drupal developer in Sydney Australia.
